PROvantage™ Weatherproof Subfloor Adhesive is a high-performance, VOC-compliant formula ideal for subfloor installations and general plywood use. It offers a strong initial tack and excellent bond strength for particleboard, OSB, engineered lumber and wet, frozen and treated lumber.

PROvantage Subfloor Adhesive provides a permanent bond that remains flexible, reduces nailing and eliminates squeaky floors. It can be easily extruded from -18°C - +38°C for applications in various climates.

EXCEEDS THE REQUIREMENTS OF APA'S AFG-01, ASTM D3498 AND ASTM C557.

Application Guidelines

Application Temperature: -180C to +380C  
Service Temperature Range: -180C to +490C.
Working Time: Approximately 20 minutes for a 1/4" bead.
Working Surfaces: Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion
Cleanup: Tools/adhesive may be cleaned with acetone or mineral spirits. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.

Limitations:

Not designed for continuous submersion. Do not use on vinyl-coated drywall, polystyrene foam or rigid plastics. Do not adhere one non porous material to another as this will slow or prevent drying.

Caution Statement:
DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. VAPOR HARMFUL. Contains methyl acetate, hexane and residual vinyl acetate. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Use only with positive cross-ventilation. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. Uncured product can cause eye or skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated overexposure to solvents in uncured product can cause central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, eye, skin, liver kidney or respiratory system effects. First Aid: If dizziness or other adverse effects are experienced, move to fresh air; contact physician if discomfort persists. If eye contact occurs, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes; contact physician immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician immediately.
